
CONTROLLING – navigate your company to sustainable success
The program provides an overview on the development of Controlling as a management support function and its current shaping
in terms of scope, required skills and organisational layout.
Following the TRAC logic, the Controlling methodology then is jointly worked out in the corresponding phases:
- Target setting and planning
- Realisation measurement
- Analysis of performance (deviations)
- Corrective measures
In the Target section, participants will learn how to set strategic and operational targets as well as how the strategic planning
and budgeting process in a company is performed. In the Realisation section practical tools how to measure the strategic and
operational performance of a company will be jointly evaluated. During the Analysis section participants will be learn how to analyse
the collected data and how to deliver relevant reports which will be used by the company management in an efficient manner.
In the Correction section proven practical approaches how to get the company staff to execute necessary changes on the strategic and
operational level will be discussed. Having in mind the digitalisation of the business environment
(industry 4.0, big data, internet of things, cloud, etc.) and the increasing importance of environmental care,
the impacts of these developments on the Controlling will be analysed.
Depending on the foreknowledge of the participants, an introduction on the basic financial document
(profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) can be provided too.
